From the church - Leave the car park and turn right into the traffic flow. Stay on the right and follow the curve of the road round to the right. Once past the curve, move into the left hand lane, signposted A337 Lymington/Brockenhurst, and go straight on. Follow the road straight for about 3 miles - you will pass the large Balmer Lawn Hotel to your left.
Just after the Balmer Lawn Hotel, you will pass a sign for Carey's Manor Hotel on your left, then take the first right into Grigg's Lane. At the end of Grigg's Lane, turn right into the Village Centre. Go through the village, through the small ford at the top of the road, then turn right into Rhinefield Road. Follow this road for about four miles through the forest (mind the ponies!). You'll come out of the forest into a heathland area - keep going straight on.
As you enter the forest area again, look left for a first glimpse of Rhinefield House. Go through the gate and across the cattle grid and turn left at the bend in the road - signposted for Rhinefield House Hotel. Go up the driveway to the front of the house and follow the road round to the carpark just off to the right.
